So… I finally decided to start a blog.

Not because I’ve suddenly become a vlogger (let’s be real – that’s not happening 😄), but because I’ve got years of notes, lessons, “how-did-I-even-figure-that-out” moments sitting in folders… and it feels like a waste not to share them.

If I’ve learned anything in my Dynamics 365 journey, it’s this: someone else is always about to hit the same problem you just solved. So… here we are. Sharing the goods.

A little about me 👇

I’m a Principal Dynamics 365 Consultant specialising in Sales, Service, and Marketing, and if you ask me what I really love? Marketing automation. That’s my thing.

Also… I’m that person. The one who gives you all the detail.
Not a summary. Not a “quick overview.” Nope. You’re getting text, screenshots, diagrams, colour-coding… the works. (You’re welcome 😄)

Originally from South Africa 🇿🇦 (Pretoria → Cape Town), now based in Auckland 🇳🇿—and sitting on 28 years of experience across… well… a lot of things.
I even have a “magic number” for it:

Don’t worry, I’ll translate:

8+ versions of Dynamics
6 marketing tools
8 certifications
Basically… if it involves data, systems, or CRM—I’ve probably been there 😄

Fun fact: before Dynamics, I was basically the Queen of Excel 👑
(And yes, I still wear that badge proudly.)

My Dynamics journey started back in 2008 when I was working client-side, stuck with a… let’s call it “interesting” database situation.

Think:

• One person knew how it worked
• No access to the backend
• Everything expensive to fix
• Reporting = pain

So naturally… I did what any curious, slightly obsessive person would do: I pulled the whole thing apart, mapped it, analysed it, interviewed users, documented everything—and accidentally became a functional consultant in the process 😄

That’s when I discovered Dynamics CRM. And honestly? That was it for me. Hooked.

Fast forward 18+ years…

Client → Consultant → Freelancer → Business owner → Microsoft Partner →Client → Microsoft Partner (full circle moment ✨)

Somewhere in between:

• Learned a little SQL, configs, customisations
• Collected certifications
• Built solutions
• Worked with incredible people
• And somehow got even more passionate about this space

What I love most?

Helping people make sense of systems.
Seeing teams actually use the tech properly.
Turning “this is painful” into “this is easy.”

That’s the good stuff.

So this blog?

It’s going to be:
